Dave and Jan's travels: The Lynn Canal

 

Not actually a manmade canal, but a natural fjord. Glaciers pour into the sea on both sides, and there's a desolate, forbidding beauty all around. Sailing along this canal makes you acutely aware of just how small humans are.
