Cathedral, Léon

Apparently Léon Cathedral is the largest in Central America. The local Conquistadores were flush with silver mine wealth when they built it. Legend has it that they sent a rather smaller set of plans to Madrid for approval, because they were worried that a jealous Spanish court might veto this edifice.
